Meghan Dailey

Machine Learning Specialist Senior

Meghan Dailey, M.S., is a machine learning specialist senior for Advanced Research Computing (ARC), a division of Information and Technology Services (ITS). She specializes in robotics, software systems, and graphical user interfaces. 

Dailey is a member of the ARC Scientific Computing and Research Consulting Services team, and is ready to help researchers with machine learning and artificial intelligence programming. She has consulted with student and faculty teams to build neural networks for image analysis and classification. She also has extensive experience in natural language processing and has worked on many projects analyzing text sentiment and intent. 

Before joining the university, she worked in artificial intelligence for defense applications, and served as technical lead on multiple Phase I and Phase II SBIR and STTR contracts with the Navy and the Air Force. 

Dailey earned a B.S. in computer engineering from Santa Clara University in 2014, and an M.S. in robotics engineering from the University of Michigan in 2015. She was awarded the first-ever Alumni Merit Award from U-M Robotics in 2022.

In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin with the Dexter Community Orchestra, golfing, and spending time with her husband, Brendan, and dog, Gatsby.
